Privacy notice

A short, plain-language explanation of what this website does — and does not do — with your data.

Who is responsible

This website is run by Linux Education, a nonprofit organization registered in Georgia, USA. For any privacy question, please reach us through our contact page.

No tracking, no cookies

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools.

Fonts and images are served from our own server, so visiting this site does not send your data to font or content providers such as Google.

Server logs

Like almost every website, our web server automatically records basic technical information when a page is requested: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested and your browser type. We use these logs only to keep the site running and secure, and we keep them no longer than necessary for that purpose.

When you email us

If you write to us, we use your email address and the information in your message only to reply to you and, for membership applications, to review your application. We do not sell or share this information with third parties.

We keep application emails for as long as we need them to decide on and manage your membership, and delete them when they are no longer needed.

Links to other websites

Our site links to other services, such as our project wiki and LinkedIn. Those sites may collect data under their own privacy policies.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it.

Changes

We may update this notice when our website changes. Last updated: October 2026.
